The Angry Birds are back with a new adventure in this lively, festive puzzle romp into the heart of Brazil. Most users interested in this game will have already played the original Angry Birds. This new game contains the same mechanics as the original, but it has added new birds and mechanics to defeat those pesky, evil green pigs we've all come to love to hate. The sound effects are switched up slightly from the original to reflect the Brazilian atmosphere. Fans of the classic aren't going to find any new gameplay elements in this one. It's mainly an Angry Birds skin with new mechanics and backgrounds, as new scenery and gameplay elements slowly make their way into the game.
The setting of Angry Birds Rio is Rio de Janeiro. The bad guys are still those well-known and much-hated green piggies. The Angry Birds seek their revenge while attempting to rescue their lost brothers. Cages are the primary structure to take down throughout the game, and you'll still be catapulting your cute little birds frequently through these structures. Other obstacles and mechanics come into play throughout each exciting new level.
Each new version of Angry Birds seems to trump the last. Most users love the Rio setting because it gives the Angry Birds a chance to be at their cutest. The colors are a little brighter, the music a little more festive, and the game just a little more fun than the last one. It seems that as long as there are new levels for the Angry Birds to fly through, we will always come back for more of this addictive puzzler.
